Semi-Custom Guide

After exploring and choosing your design from the Semi-Custom Collection, you are then able to customize the details to make your suite just as unique as your wedding day. Let this guide help you navigate through the many options and processes to be better prepared when placing your invitation order.

 

  • Invitation Only

    Just as it sounds, it is simply only the invitation. No envelopes will come with the selection of this suite size.

  • 2-Piece Suite

    When choosing this suite size, you will receive and invitation and a standard A7 Euro Flap envelope.

  • 4-Piece Suite

    The 4-Piece Suite comes with the invitation, rsvp card, standard A7 Euro Flap envelope, and a standard Reply Euro Flap envelope.

These are the basic suite sizes, if you'd like to add on more to your suite such as detail cards, envelope addressing, wax seals, etcetera; please explore the available add-ons here.

  • Smooth Cardstock

    110lb Neenah Classic Crest cardstock features a smooth surface texture with straight, clean edges. Pairs perfectly with digital or flat foil printing methods.

  • Cotton Cardstock

    110lb Neenah Cotton cardstock has a more textured surface with straight edges. Complements both a flat printing method like digital or foil; and letterpress to create a pillow-like effect.

  • Handmade

    Made from recycled cotton rag, this 200gsm handmade paper has a textured surface with naturally deckled edges. Pairs perfectly with digital or letterpress print.

  • Digital

    This basic, yet refined, printing method produces a flat, matte color on the paper. Digital print is the most affordable option and is suitable for any paper type.

  • Flat Foil

    When looking to achieve a true metallic finish, foil stamping is the way to go. Through this particular printing method, the foil is applied on the surface of the paper and does not show any indentation.

  • Letterpress

    As an old fashioned form of printing, letterpress combines solid ink with a die plate to achieve a deep impression in the paper. A thicker paper like the cotton cardstock or handmade paper are perfect for this process as it aids in creating a pillow-like effect for a more elegant finished product.

  • Letterpress Foil

    Combine the letterpress process with the foil stamp for a deep impression with a metallic finish.

Process

Once your order is placed, a digital proof of your invitation suite will be sent to you via email. Please review all of the information carefully and make sure everything looks as it should! If revisions are needed, now is the time to do so. Two rounds of revisions are included, however, if more revisions are required, there will be an additional fee of $99.

It is the client's responsibility to completely proofread designs. After final proofs of designs are approved by the client they will be printed. If the client approves incorrect text in the final proof (misspellings, spacing error, etc), Sydney Beth Designs will not be held responsible. If the final products the client receives do not match the approved proof, Sydney Beth Designs will be responsible for reprinting all affected items free of charge.

Once you have approved the final proof of your invitation, your files will officially be in production and printed.

Your finished invitation suite will be carefully packaged and shipped to you! Please note: invitation suite assembly is not included. Your suites will be packaged in separate pieces - invitations, envelopes, etc. If you’re interested in the suite assembly service, you can add that on to your order.

Production Times and Availability

Initial digital proof(s) will be sent to you within 3-5 business days.

Any revision requests will be completed during this time. Please note, this can delay your order by an additional 3-5 business days, depending on the amount of revision requests.

Once designs are approved, please refer to the following for printing and production times:

Invitation Only - Please plan on 1-2 weeks after designs are approved for the invitations to arrive in your mailbox.

Two-Piece Suite - Please plan on 2-3 weeks after designs are approved for the invitations to arrive in your mailbox.

Four-Piece Suite - Please plan on 2-4 weeks after designs are approved for the invitations to arrive in your mailbox.

Not all paper types or envelope colors may be available from our suppliers when you place your order. If getting the requested items will take too long for your desired timeline or is not available at all, I will work with you to come up with a suitable plan B.

Design and Materials

All designs from the Semi-Custom Collection, including the design layouts and features, are not subject to revisions or will be changed in any way.

Ink and envelope colors are portrayed as accurately as possible, however, they may appear slightly different in hand than they do on screen.

  • The classic Ink Colors are available for Digital and Letterpress printing methods. Metallic colors like Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Copper are available for Foil Stamp and Foil Letterpress.
  • All envelopes will be a Standard Euro design featuring a distinct pointed back flap.

Handmade paper is made from organic cotton rag and is created by human hands. There may be slight imperfections and differences between each sheet. This is the nature of the product and only adds to its uniqueness and beauty.

Shipping

I use USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day) or USPS Priority Mail Express (1 day) shipping with all of my orders unless specifically requested otherwise.
If items are lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit to the client, Sydney Beth Designs will not be held responsible. If you choose to have your items reprinted or redone, Sydney Beth Designs will cover 10% of the cost but cannot guarantee an expedited completion and delivery of your items.
Due to the artisan and custom nature of products purchased from Sydney Beth Designs, returns and/or exchanges will not be accepted.
